March & Celebrate on Int'ntl Womens Day
To celebrate the diversity and determination of South Bay women in the struggle for justice and peace, an International Women's Day march and festival will be held in San Jose:
Saturday, March 6
11:00 am to 1pm-March from Roosevelt Park (901 East Santa Clara St, San Jose) to Biblioteca Latinoamericana (921 S. First St, San Jose)
1 to 4 pm-Festival at Biblioteca Latinoamericana. The festival includes live music, cultural presentations, speakers, a resource fair and food vendors, and a kids activities area
We will march under the banners of:
- Marching for Womyn's and Human Rights
- No to Violence! No to war! No to US-led wars and occupations anywhere!
- Womyn demand Humane Immigration Reform!
- Marriage Equality for All
The South Bay International Womyn's Day Network
