On July 14, 2016, community members are invited to attend a Community Forum addressing local and national police shootings of black and brown people. Government, non-profit, community stakeholders and business groups will come together to discuss issues this Thursday at 6pm, Mexican Heritage Plaza, 

"The purpose of this community-based forum is to bring together diverse civil and human rights leaders and organizations to form a more united front to work on social justice issues, including the excessive use of force by police," said Community Member, Walter Wilson. "It also gives the community an opportunity to acknowledge the shooting victims in Dallas, Texas".

This forum will allow community members to ask questions and engage various community, government and business groups around the matter of police shootings.
