Local peace and social justice organizations sell crafts, clothing, and a variety of other gifts for the holidays season, including possible alternatives to war toys. Members and the public can buy noncommercial, alternative, superior gifts at excellent prices. Where Third World products are involved, there is a direct benefit to those craftspeople.

Musical groups and other multicultural entertainers perform throughout the day. Children can participate in activities especially organized for them, while parents shop. There is a table with delicious desserts for sale. A low-cost lunch and beverages are available.

The Holiday Peace Fair, a South Bay tradition, is celebrating 27 years of outreach and fundraising.  $2 donation at the door. Proceeds benefit participating nonprofit organizations and one local and one international service organization.
