Darlene Wallach and Donna Wallach are Jewish anti-zionist social justice activists who recently returned to the Bay Area after spending a few months in Gaza Strip. They were onboard the two Free Gaza movement boats, SS Liberty and SS Free Gaza, which voyaged from Cyprus to Gaza Strip, Palestine in August 2008, the first boats to arrive to Gaza from Cyprus in 41 years. Darlene & Donna remained in Gaza with four other international volunteers and re-established International Solidarity Movement Gaza Strip. They witnessed the Israeli occupation force soldiers constantly violate the 6 month June 2008 ceasefire, and perpetrate collective punishment on the 1.5 million Palestinians living in Gaza, while accompanying Palestinian fishermen and farmers, and living among the people.
