Sunday January 19th @ 7PM

Presbyterian Church of Sunnyvale

728 W Fremont Ave., Sunnyvale

An African-American choir travels to the West Bank of the Occupied Palestinian Territories to perform in a play that brings Martin Luther King Jr. and the civil rights struggle to a Palestinian audience. Dr. Clay Carson, who runs the Martin Luther King, Jr. Institute, went to Palestine for the performance of his play about Dr. King by the Palestinian National Theatre. The film brings a fresh perspective to the reality of Palestinian life under occupation and non-violent activists there.

Director/Producer: Connie Field
Cosponsored by San Jose Presbytery Peace & Justice Task Force, the Peace & Social Justice Committee of the Sunnyvale Presbyterian Church, & San Jose Peace & Justice Center.
