The Bay Area Russell Set (BARS) is a local chapter of the Bertrand Russell Society (BRS), which is dedicated to studying the life, thought, and legacy of philosopher, peace activist, and humanist Bertrand Russell. Meeting Topic: Russell, Moore, and Darwin. Suggested Reading: Philosophy and the Darwinian Legacy Suzanne Cunningham, chapter 2: “G.E. Moore and Evolutionary Ethics.”
