Dr. Nosheen Ali
Dr. Nosheen is a Pakistani
sociologist and human rights activist
focused on progressive movements
in Northern Pakistan. Her research focuses on state-building and progressive struggle in Northern Pakistan. She serves on the editorial board of the South Asian journal SAMAJ, and is a founding member of the academic collective GRASP (Group for research in the Anthropology, Sociology, and Politics of Pakistan).
