Come educate yourself about all things healthcare (defunding of Medicaid, repeal of ACA, voucherizing Medicare), details and the current status of SB 562, ask questions from representatives, and learn from others.
Amidst uncertainty at the federal level, will California take a bold lead? Can we afford it? Does UUFS want to take a stand on this bill? Yes or no, we need to be educated about the bill and communicate with our state representatives.
There was a presentation by representatives of The Healthy California Act at the Congregational Community Church on 6/6/17. Best if you can watch this presentation first, but NOT required. The talk was recorded and can be viewed at:https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=DTmUm5IeFH8 (44 min.). In addition, the Q&A that followed the talk was posted separately at: https://youtu.be/FrungnOJ7dM (54 min.).
